As a Life-Cycle Celebrant ® I am a graduate of the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, where I was specifically trained to craft and perform personalized, custom ceremonies for people of all faiths and beliefs. Celebrants act in the same legal capacity as Ministers, but we are also trained in an extensive, college-level course in the art of creating meaningful ceremonies, and in public speaking.
Celebrants cater to all people who seek personalized ceremonies, including spiritual, interfaith and samesex couples. We are storytellers, trained in the art of ritual and creative writing, with a rich array of resources we draw upon to divine a ceremony that captures your unique journey.
I have always been fascinated by the power of ceremony and ritual to connect people to themselves, each other, and a sense of something greater.
In my 20’s, I took a DIY approach to creating women’s circles and other ceremonies with my friends, loving the magic that came when we took time out of daily life to join in ceremony.
It all came together for me when my sister asked me to officiate her wedding ceremony four years ago, and I realized I had found my calling. I got my training as a Red-corded Priestess through the Red Moon Mystery School, and as a Wedding and Funeral Celebrant and Metaphysical Minister through the Canadian Metaphysical Ministry.
